From power struggles
to
collaborative problem-solving.
Are you ready to move beyond rules and sticker charts?
If you are parenting a child with big emotions, persistent struggles, or recurring conflicts, you are likely exhausted — and frustrated by approaches that rely on consequences, rewards, or compliance.
You want:
Fewer power struggles
More understanding
A way forward that actually works for your child
Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) offers a different path.
Who’s leading this?
Hello! My name’s Katie and I’m:
- A CPS-certified provider
- A pediatric occupational therapist
- An autistic mama of 4 neurodivergent kids
My family was facing aggressive meltdowns hourly with our second child when I discovered the book that turned our lives around:
✨ The Explosive Child by Ross Greene
From day 1, the approach this book teaches:
- changed my perspective
- allowed me to meet my children where they were at
- helped us find durable solutions to recurrent problems
and most importantly, it brought our son back to us.
When we stepped out of the fighting ring of traditional discipline, my son’s sweet, caring, creative personality was able to come through. Now, he is one of the most understanding and empathetic adolescents I know.
Now, I love combining my occupational therapy knowledge with this framework to help families like mine!
