Storytime Saturday
Upcoming Storytime Saturdays ➡️
🌿If you see our sign at the park, come over and say hi - we love connecting with other families! You can stay to hear a story, play with the toys/crafts, or even get OT/developmental questions answered!
🏃 Also check out our partner, Rochester Tag. Nurture in Nature is typically present at their flashlight tag events, with sensory tools, first aid, and emotional/behavioral support available!
🎉 It’s all FREE and FUN!
Check us out on Instagram and Facebook to see pictures from past events and sessions!

WHY STORYTIME SATURDAYS-
Kids sure struggle.
I understand — I’m the mom of a kid whose BIG FEELINGS are famous. And I used to have no idea how to how to help him manage them.
I’m an occupational therapist, and I can help you master the skills that will help you help your kid.
Storytime: not just stories!
When you come with your kid to storytime, we’ll choose a book to explore together. As I read, I’ll connect with your kid — asking questions, tuning into their emotions, and collaborating with you to help support them.
All of us — you, me, and your child — will have an open conversation about what’s difficult, and what powerful skills they might benefit from, and how they might master those. (I even pick stories that touch on those skills.)
Saturday mornings
10–11am
Kids 2–10 yo tend to enjoy this event the most! (I love connecting with all ages though; if you’ve got an older kid, let me know something they’re interested in, and I’ll bring a more advanced piece of media to spark conversation.)
